Esun Team-Building Trip to Gannan: Through Snow and Wind, We Witnessed Extraordinary Scenery Together

Gannan, November 5, 2025 — From November 1st to 5th, the Esun team embarked on a five-day team-building journey to Gannan. Carrying the excitement for vast grasslands, pure snowfields, and unique ethnic cultures, the team set out on a trip full of surprises, challenges, and unforgettable memories.

The journey began with laughter and anticipation, but the breathtaking beauty of the plateau soon came hand in hand with the challenges of high altitude. Some teammates experienced mild altitude sickness — dizziness, shortness of breath, or fatigue. Yet it was during these moments that the true spirit of Esun shone brightest. Team members offered hot water, oxygen tanks, and medicine, along with words of comfort and encouragement. Every small act of care strengthened the bond within the team, turning hardship into warmth and unity.

As the convoy traveled along the renowned Jiangdie Highway — a 106-kilometer stretch completely out of communication range — the team was momentarily disconnected from the outside world but reconnected with nature and themselves. Towering snow-capped mountains under the blue sky, vast grasslands dusted with the first snow — every scene unfolded like a pure, magnificent painting. It was not only a journey through landscapes but also a journey of inner peace and reflection.

During the visit to local herders’ homes, the team experienced genuine hospitality and rich local culture. The fragrance of traditional milk tea, the warmth of smiles, and the simplicity of nomadic life offered a glimpse into a different world. Riding on horseback across the snowy prairie, though a bit unfamiliar at first, gave everyone a taste of freedom and exhilaration — moments that will linger in memory for years to come.

From conquering high-altitude discomfort to embracing breathtaking snow-covered horizons, the Esun team learned the value of perseverance, mutual support, and collective growth.
